FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Why payment by bank transfer?
We sell a small number of hand-picked pieces and prefer a direct relationship with each customer. Bank transfer lets us reserve your rug for you and look after you personally, with no middleman. Our details are shared only inside your secure inbox on the site.
How long is my rug reserved?
As soon as we send you our bank details, the rug is reserved for you for 72 hours. If your transfer takes longer, just write to us and we can extend the reservation.
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
Costs depend on your country and are confirmed in your inbox before any payment. Allow around 5–8 business days for Europe and 7–12 for North America after dispatch. Every parcel is tracked.
Will I pay customs duties?
Our rugs ship from Morocco. Depending on your country, customs duties or import VAT may be collected on delivery and are payable by you. Feel free to write to us for an estimate.
Is the rug I receive the one in the photos?
Because every rug is handmade, slight variations in colour, pattern or size (a few centimetres) are normal and part of its character. On request, we send extra daylight photos before you pay.
Can I return my rug?
Yes. You have 14 days after delivery to tell us you wish to return it, under our terms of sale. The rug must be sent back in its original condition; return shipping is at your expense.
How do I care for a Berber rug?
Vacuum it regularly without a rotating brush, and shake and air it from time to time. For spills, blot with cold water without rubbing. A professional clean every two to three years keeps it looking its best.
Do you offer other sizes?
Each design comes in a single size. For a special request, write to us and we will see with our weavers what is possible.
