Terms of sale

Last updated: [date]

1. Purpose

These terms govern sales of rugs concluded through the Tapis Atlas website between [company name] (“the seller”) and any person placing an order (“the customer”).

2. Ordering

Orders are placed through the website inbox. The customer provides a delivery address; the seller confirms the total amount (rug and shipping) and shares bank details in the inbox.

The sale is concluded upon receipt of the transfer of the total amount. The rug is reserved for the customer for the period stated in the inbox (72 hours by default); after that period without payment, the reservation is cancelled.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros and US dollars, excluding any customs duties and import taxes, which are payable by the customer.

Payment is made exclusively by bank transfer, quoting the order reference. Bank details are only shared in the website inbox; the seller never changes them by email.

4. Delivery

The rug ships within [2] business days of payment receipt, with a tracking number. Delivery times are indicative. Risk passes to the customer upon delivery of the parcel.

5. Right of withdrawal

Consumers residing in the European Union have 14 days from delivery to withdraw, without giving a reason. They notify the seller via the inbox and return the rug in its original condition within the following 14 days, at their own expense.

The seller refunds all sums paid, including initial shipping costs (based on standard delivery), within 14 days of receiving the returned rug.

6. Handmade nature

The rugs are handmade: slight differences in colour, pattern or size (a few centimetres) from the photographs are inherent to their making and are not a defect.

7. Warranties and claims

Customers benefit from the applicable statutory warranties. Any claim is sent through the website inbox.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by [Moroccan / French — to be specified] law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the consumer's country of residence.
